Binnie decided to bring me out for dinner at Raffles Hotel Bar and Billiard Room. I've not been there before, so I was pretty curious. I wanted to find out if the seafood was really that good.
Well, I wasn't disappointed. The oysters were very fresh. So fresh that I ate a dozen of them. I'm not kiddin'! I've broke my own record!!! I kept going back to the tray of fresh oysters, until the servers actually placed the lemons and tabasco sauce on my table. Oh man!!! How embarrassing!!!
The oysters, lobsters and prawns taste very sweet and yummy when paired with a bottle of chenin blanc. Binnie and I polished the bottle over a great catching up session.
The service was excellent, too. Damien, the french manager of the restaurant stopped at our table and had a chat with us. He was very warm and friendly. We had a good time talking about Paris and New York. Do check him out, ladies. He's quite a charming french guy.
And of course, I'd definitely be back again!
